Cindy is a lifelong Washington State resident. She loves the Seattle music scene and is an avid Layne Staley & Alice in Chains collector (of just about everything). She’s considered a "go-to" person on the band's expansive history & the Seattle grunge era. She experienced the music explosion that happened here in Seattle in the early 1990’s. She’s obtained a wealth of knowledge on many of the bands that were signed, including those left without record contracts. She has a number of press releases for several of those bands too.
Cindy is the founder and owner of NeHi Stripes. She's the website administrator and also maintains all of NeHi's social media accounts. Her column is "Seattle Sound". NeHi Stripes is managed by Cindy and her long-time friend, photo-journalist Kurt Clark.
