I’m officially in BAH-STON! I love the Boston accent! I flew in yesterday for the 2nd annual Layne Staley Tribute East. I’m here to support everyone participating – including Davey, Billy and Vedder. I also get to talk to the audience and make an introduction….. It should be a night of singing, giving hope  while raising awareness and honoring Layne Staley and Mike Starr!  On top of the important items listed above, anyone that attends WILL be making incredible memories. It’s one of the many reasons that set me on a path to healing more than 16 years ago. I cannot encourage this event enough! 

I’m also looking forward to meeting a lot of new people, including the incredibly talented musicians that are donating 100% of their time, energy and talents. Not one person is  paid (just like Seattle) to participate (each participant is responsible for their own travel expenses too). That ensures 100% of the proceeds will go to the CASPAR House Men’s Recovery and to the Layne Staley Memorial Fund administered through THS.
