We are pleased to announce the 2025 Chris Cornell Tribute. The Nectar Lounge will will host the annual celebration to honor Seattle’s Son, the late Chris Cornell. The annual event will fall on May 17th.
The event date is just 1 day ahead of 8 years since Cornell tragically died in Detroit, Michigan. Soundgarden had just finished their show. Shortly after, the events that unfolded are still under debate, amongst the large Soundgarden/Cornell fan base.
Nonetheless, his presence is still felt by everyone who was affected not only by his music, but also because of the man he was. He was a philanthropist, humanitarian, friend, beloved family member and the proud father of 3 (Lily, Toni and Chris).
Chris was a brilliant songwriter and a multi-octave singer. He was able to play drams and guitar. He’d later collaborate with countless of musicians, making him one of the most sought after artists of our generation.
